Presque Mort Chapitre six

Ann n'a pas parlé à Paul à l'école. Ann ne pouvait pas arrêter de penser à Paul parce qu'elle lui a sauvé la vie. Elle veut aller au 14 Juillet fête avec lui. Depuis Paul est nouveau, il n'a pas d'amis. Ann finalement parlé avec lui et il va à la fête. Elle écrit à Lise de sa journée.

Current Event #3

Lundi dernier, une fille de douze ans est devenu un héros. Elle a sauvé la vie de son père quand à partir d'une crise cardiaque. Cette jeune preteen utilisé une méthode de message cœur qu'elle a appris à l'école. La fille a dit qu'elle avait peur au début, mais elle a tenté de toute façon. Les médecins ont dit à la famille qu'ils ont été très chanceux parce que dans cette situation, chaque moment est important.

Pauvre Anne Chapitre quatre

Anne, Mireille and Sophie decide to go downtown to do different things. They go to a gym called "Sport Look," where everyone did their exercises. Next they went to a park called "Balzac,"and there were a lot of people in the park who spoke French with their children. Next they went to a swimming pool, then a store that sold CDs, Cassettes, videos, etc. Anne had to get Belgium francs so that she could buy food, as oppose to using American dollars. Finally the girls went home and listened to loud music until they were yelled at to turn it down.

Curent Event #2- Film Award

A french film called "Les Intouchables" won the prize for the best European film at the Goya awards in Spain.The movie was directed by Oliver Nakache and Eric Toledano. The film was recognized as the best-selling film ever in overseas markets. Les Intouchables is a film about the relationship between a quadriplegic millionaire and a caretaker he hires from a poor Parisian suburb. As the second biggest box-office in france and the biggest selling French film overseas of all time, the next great dream for this film is to be nominated in the US oscars, in the foreign language category.

Current Event-French News

French-led troops in Mali now control the ancient city of Timbuktu, in the city of Gao. French President Francois Hollande said, 
"We are winning in Mali."
Mali now has 2,150 soldiers on their soil and 1,000 more soldiers coming from other countries who support this operation. The US is trying to aid Mali in this conflict with aerial refueling missions, on top of everything else they are doing for the situation. Many other countries, especially in Europe and English speaking West African countries, are coming to Mali's aid; furthermore, the European union said it will contribute $67 million to support the "African -led International Support Mission" to Mali.
